💰 CAIRO Lab awarded $2MM to research robot behavior conditioned by second order mental models.

This lead to novel algorithms for policy learning, enabling robots to adapt to their collaborators' mental models of them.

This 5-year award will be conducted in collaboration with fellow CU Boulder Robotics faculty member Prof. Alessandro Roncone of the Human Interaction and Robotics group.

The proposed work will investigate how robots can better understand collaborators' models of their behavior, and develop techniques to allow them to adapt their behaviors to become more predictable and encourage more fluent teaming.
